DEPTFORD X PODIA PROJECT
Deptford X is inviting artists to submit proposals for the Deptford X Fringe.
Work can be in any medium and can be a single piece, a collection of works or an event.
One of the works selected for the Deptford X Fringe will be presented with a cash prize of £500.
The deadline for applications has been extended to Monday 30 April, 12pm.

2012 will be the 80th anniversary of the first Olympic podium and to celebrate this Deptford X has commissioned The Museum of Melancholy to create a piece of Olympic artwork.
The work is available to view at 1st Bowl, Lewisham, 11-29 Belmont Hill, SE13 5AU

Deptford X exists to promote the best contemporary visual art and celebrate that art with the widest possible audience. It is an arts event born of Deptford’s creative community and based on a belief in the limitless potential of the area. Deptford X is aiming to produce a unique high quality contemporary art festival in 2012, which will coincide with Olympic Games in London.
